ABOUT THE WORMS - Special composting redworms are REQUIRED (nightcrawlers won’t work) & can be sourced locally or on the web
- Worms are voracious breeders & consume their own weight in food in 24 hours
- The number of worms you'll need depends on how much poop you'll be adding; larger dogs & multiple dogs will require more worms than one small dog
- Each worm produces an egg capsule about every two weeks, each containing between 5 & 15 worms, so you’ll have plenty in a short period of time
- Worm capsules hatch in three weeks & mature within three months
- Worms only breed to their environment, so if you reduce the amount of poop going in, their breeding automatically decreases
